You'll put your skills to work by supporting a business through complex reviews and validations. Your work will make a positive difference in the organization you support.
About the Role
As an IT Helpdesk Specialist, you will respond to and diagnose problems through discussion with users. Ensures a timely process through which problems are controlled. Includes problem recognition, research, isolation, resolution, and follow-up steps. Serves as focal point for customer concerns and provides support to end users on a variety of issues.
As an IT Helpdesk Specialist, you will be responsible for:
  • Reviewing documented processes for accuracy relevance
  • Assisting with incident management and supporting requests
  • Monitoring applications and processes and applying in-depth knowledge to remediate issues
  • Performing actions based on business/operational needs and preparing system/KPI reports
  • Analyzing production issues and recommending strategy
Requirements
To be successful in this role you will:
  • Be able to successfully pass a background check and drug test
  • Have a High School Diploma or an equivalent level of education
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Have good IT skills and the ability to learn new systems
  • Must currently possess a 'Secret' or greater government security clearance as a requirement to be considered.
  • CompTIA A+ certification preferred but not required
  • Have a great attention to detail
  • 1 year experience with IT helpdesk required, 2 years' experience preferred
  • COVID-19 vaccination required
  • Be organized and have the ability to multi-task while adapting to changing priorities
