Job Title: Senior Director of Marketing
Location: Dallas, TX
Salary Range: $150K
Reports to: Chief Human Resources Officer
The Executive Director, Learning & Development and Workforce Planning will demonstrate exceptional acumen in performance management, leadership development, and workforce planning and be able to inspire and develop a robust workforce for the Client. This critical leadership role will work closely with the CHRO, and will be responsible for building and accelerating best-in-class, HR functions that accelerate employee growth, learning and development for the organization. The Executive Director will work closely with the CHRO and must demonstrate high levels of strategy, planning, and must exhibit effective leadership skills which include, critical thinking, problem-solving, and inter-personal skills in order to take the HR organization to the next level during the growth journey. The role will be a results-driven leader, and player-coach champion who is in alignment with the Client's mission, vision, and goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner closely with Talent Acquisition, and all departments on resource forecasts to align on planning needs, headcount budget, and reporting metrics.
- Build and facilitate succession planning and people development initiatives to promote internal mobility and career growth.
- Lead resource planning and partner with and influence business/function stakeholders to adjust forecasting and headcount planning process to align to Client standards.
- Plan, lead, and execute annual performance management cycle, aligning the Client's objectives and strategy to performance philosophy and compensation practices.
- Leverage expertise in Performance Management, Workforce Planning, Leadership Development, and Talent Acquisition backgrounds to enhance the human resources and organizational talent operation.
- Collaborate with senior executives and HR leaders, as a subject matter expert, to strategically integrate and operationalize talent & learning initiatives to drive productive business outcomes.
- Coach management and their teams on effective leadership, teamwork, communication, development, and emotional intelligence.
- Develop and implement learning programs and initiatives while also identifying, designing, planning, and executing learning systems and curriculum.
- Help champion diversity, equity, and inclusion within the workforce to maximize the development of and progression of the Client's mission, vision, and goals.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Exceptional project and process management skills with a demonstrated track record of delivering high-quality results in a mission-driven environment
- MBA preferred
- 5-7+ years complex human resources leadership
- Strategic Workforce Planning Certification (SWP) or equivalent is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related discipline
- 5+ years of experience in coaching and leadership development
- Advanced technical and computer skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with continuous process improvement
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) is a plus
- Experience working within ERP systems, preferably Workday
- Certified Professional in Talent Development (CPTD) is a plus
- Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
- SHRM or applicable human resources certifications
- Attention to detail leveraging effective organizational skills
- 7-10 years of experience in strategic workforce planning, training, and learning & development
