Healthworx Studio is a growing non-profit organization focused on improving healthcare for all. We incubate, launch and scale sustainable health solutions to address critical problems and empower people to live better lives.


Are you an endlessly organized puzzle solver passionate about healthcare? We want to meet you! We’re looking for an Executive Assistant to support our growing Leadership Team in a dynamic Venture Studio environment. In this role, you will support the Managing Partner, Director of Portfolio and Director of Operations with a variety of administrative duties and impactful projects. This is a great opportunity for someone who loves to build, support, and grow within a startup environment.


This is a Hybrid opportunity, responsible for organizing and attending occasional on-site meetings. Candidates must reside within a commutable distance to Washington, DC and have reliable transportation.


What You Can Expect in this Role:

  • Support members of the Leadership Team with calendar management, travel arrangements and expense reports.
  • Assist the Managing Partner with Board Presentations and other events.
  • Handle logistics for monthly meetings, including but not limited to; securing meeting space, organizing meeting agenda, collecting cross-functional presentations, coordinating meals, and organizing bonding events and other fun activities.
  • Support studio team members with in-person and virtual events such as conferences, demos, and investor meetings.
  • Take notes and provide meeting summaries for internal and external meetings.
  • Support the Director of Operations with financial and legal projects, vendor relationships, and other administrative activities.

  • You possess strong emotional intelligence and a desire to support solutions that benefit underserved populations.
  • You are naturally curious, enjoy learning with a systems mindset, and are interested in being at the forefront of healthcare innovation.
  • You enjoy working and building within an early stage startup environment, with a willingness to support multiple projects.
  • You are comfortable balancing multiple priorities and stakeholders.
  • You are skilled with Google Suite and Microsoft products. Experience with Miro a plus.
  • You strive for excellence within your own work, and have a proven track record of inspiring others around you.
  • You have 3+ years of Administrative, Executive or Operations Assistant experience.
  • You approach collaboration with trust, mutual respect, and warmth.
