Executive Assistant – Full Time – Onsite – Office and Manufacturing Environment
Team Support and Scope
Konnect is working with a family-owned stylish upholstered furniture firm that is seeking an Executive Assistant with a direct reporting relationship to the CEO.
The EA performs a support role and is quick-thinking, flexible, and able to provide outstanding customer service with a strong emphasis on organization and an unwavering attention to detail. This is a demanding and fast-paced position that requires a proactive and positive thinker who is able to exercise good judgment, effective communication, and initiative.
You’ll be expected to help grow ideas and become a great team contributor. Because we’re in a rapidly growing and evolving industry, innovation is key. That is why we need someone who can think outside the box and provide a creative approach to support our mission while sharing our values and enthusiasm!
Your role is imperative to the smooth operation of the department and the attainment of its goals. The focus is to support and have the potential to grow into a valued “go-to person” in all aspects of the business. The EA is responsible for the day-to-day projects, proposals, helping with swatches and sample deliveries, assisting the design team, and more.
You’re role and potential
- Preparing ad-hoc business reports.
- Assisting with marketing initiatives.
- Working hours are 7:30am-4pm PST
- Driving or delivering fabric swatches to customers.
- Getting materials to the sales and design teams.
- Answering emails for the CEO.
- Teach, train, and support adherence to company policies, procedures, standards, and regulations.
- Organizing all sample fabrics.
- Responding to requests on the CEO’s behalf.
- Opportunity to work on website design if you have prior experience doing so.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Support role for business and office administration and process inquiries.
- Working with other members of the administrative department to direct, monitor, and contribute to strategic projects.

- Must have a valid driver's license, own personal vehicle, and car insurance. Mileage reimbursement is provided.

- Ability to adapt and function effectively in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
Education / Experience / Certifications
- Design experience is highly preferred.
- Bi-Lingual Spanish is a plus.
- Prior Management Skills are a plus.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing; or equivalent degree from an accredited institution, in a related field or equivalent years of experience.
- 3+ years’ experience in a related position.
Compensation
- Hourly rate of $32-$40
