Johnson & Johnson is recruiting for an Executive Assistant, located in New Brunswick, NJ. This position will require periodic support / travel at other New Jersey and Pennsylvania campuses.

The Executive Assistant will be responsible for providing direct administrative support to the Vice President, Pharmaceuticals and Enterprise, Health Care Compliance (HCC) and their leadership team, in addition to supporting other VP, as needed. The candidate must maintain a highly professional and efficient office environment and will continue to operate at full capacity and fill in during any absence of the Vice President. The administrative responsibilities are complex, dynamic and include projects that require the use of sound judgement, strict confidentiality, independent assessment, and the ability to resolve complex situations.


Strong team player with superior communication skills able to exercise sound judgment and discretion, to independently assess and resolve complex situations, which may include responding for the executive in routine or complex matters. Assist with all logistical support related to the Compliance function within HCC including organizing large-scale meetings and providing onsite support, opening and managing purchases orders, assisting with the budget management, expense reporting and coordinating meeting schedules and managing calandar. Interact with internal and external stakeholders, often at the upper-management level.


Must be able to demonstrate flexibility and have proven experience managing and responding to multiple priorities and shifting demands while maintaining a sense of urgency and the intensity that the role requires.

Job Qualifications


  • Experience coordinating and scheduling domestic and international travel, preparing expense reports, coordinating offsite meetings, preparing PowerPoint presentations, crafting communications and calendar management required
  • The ability to multitask, work with minimal supervision and achieve results in a fast-paced environment is required
  • Strong computer skills working in Microsoft Office suite, Ariba/e-Marketplace, Concur and SharePoint required
  • Previous administrative experience supporting a high level senior executive and managing a complex international team is required
  • Flexibility to accommodate a changing work schedule and sensitivity to international time zones is required
  • Minimum of a high school diploma required
  • Ability to manage large zoom webinars, meetings and other technology platforms required
  • Experience working with highly sensitive confidential information is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree or a certificate and/or formalized training as an administrative assistant is preferred
  • Minimum of 8 years of advanced Executive Assistant experience is required

The base pay range for this position is $59,850 to $96,600. The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/ performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.
