OVERVIEW
The Los Angeles Chargers have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Executive Assistant who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
As a key member of the executive suite, the assistant provides confidential, comprehensive administrative support to the executive suite, including ownership and high-level business operations executives.
The successful candidate must demonstrate impeccable discretion, an understanding of executive protocols and the nuances associated with supporting ownership and executives in a family-owned business. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated success running an executive suite in a family, political, investment or similar office.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (include but are not limited to):
- Uses sound judgment and carefully ascertains the nature of incoming phone calls, accurately records messages, addresses issues independently, and transfers calls as necessary. Follows up with callers regarding information requests.
- Maintain a high-level of confidentiality in all areas of discussion with the Executives and handle sensitive matters with discretion.
- Heavy, ever-changing calendar management requiring interaction with both internal and external executives and assistants to coordinate a variety of complex meetings.
- Assist with ownership suite during home/away games.
- Arranges travel plans and itineraries, compiles documents for travel-related meetings.
- Perform other tasks as needed, such as assisting with department-wide initiatives and events.
- Manages report generation and report building - must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Prioritizing and managing multiple projects simultaneously and following through on issues in a timely manner.
- Processing expense reports routinely and efficiently.
- Files correspondence and other records.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Location: Costa Mesa, CA (in-office)
Compensation: Anticipated hiring salary range is $75K-$85K depending on experience.
Must be willing to relocate or commute to El Segundo, California, around the spring of 2024.
Requirements:
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite - mainly Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Strong sense of responsibility and personal ownership over work.
- Superb organization and interpersonal skills: Demonstrated ability to stay organized, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing circumstances. Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Ability to travel off-site and overnight, required.
- Strong work ethic, integrity, and ability to take direction.
