Job Details


The Director of Administration will support the CEO in all aspects of executing the strategic plan as established by the Board of Directors and Executive Leadership Team. Effectively and confidentially manages the Office of the CEO to provide necessary support to achieve the credit union’s enterprise goals and objectives. Oversees various aspects of managing the coordination of the CEO, Board of Directors, and any assigned Executive Team members daily work, including presentations, interactions with colleagues, and scheduling.


This will be a hybrid position with a minimum of 3 days per week at the Corporate Facility.


Salary $70,000-115,000 with opportunity to bonus up to 15%.


Duties And Responsibilities


Board Liaison Duties


Fosters a strong collaborative working relationships between and among Board Chair, the Board and Committee Members, CEO and Executive Team.


Supports the Board of Directors and Board Committees as needed by facilitating, reviewing, and keeping abreast of major issues and communications throughout the organization.


Coordinates and tracks Board educational opportunities, including in-house, online, conference and/ or external training opportunities on an individual, as-needed basis.


Coordinates and ensures completion of new Board Member, Advisory Board and Committee Member onboarding and orientation.


Assists in coordinating the agenda of Board meetings, Executive Committee meetings, and on-site and off-site meetings.


Executive Leadership Team Duties


Proactively acts as the main resource for CEO and Executive Leadership Team (ELT) in executing the Strategic Plan and meeting strategic goals. Actively plans, organizes, and participates in strategic planning of organization.


Proactively manages the CEO’s schedule, including scheduling, planning, and supporting various meetings and planning travel.


Responsible for special project management and support as directed by the CEO. These may include facilities, mergers/ acquisitions, regulatory activity, CUSO operations, marketing, community involvement and others as required.


Drafts, implements, and maintains both Board and Corporate policies, corporate documents and reports to support achievement of corporate goals and objectives.


Maintains knowledge of developments and trends in finance and administration.


Prepares a wide variety of correspondence, reports, and corporate documents.


Acts on behalf of the CEO and/or ELT at internal and external meetings as requested. This also may include responding to member inquiries and resolving service-related issues on behalf of the CEO and/or ELT.

Provides confidential consultation and expertise to C-Suite leaders. Also, assists the executive team members to determine and prioritize business strategies based on their schedules.

Operates with a high degree of independence and demonstrates flexible and efficient time management and ability to prioritize workload.

Education And Experience


Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. This may include Business Administration, Communication and Management Education.


5+ years related equivalent experience.


Experience with document management and information reporting.


Advanced MS Office Skills And Experience.


Experience acting as a company liaison, managing relationships with external vendors, employees, management, board of directors, and others.


Proven success in a project coordination role.


Experience in large event planning.
