Job Description

An established organization in Pewaukee is looking for an Admin Accounting Assistant to add to their team in a temp to permanent capacity. This position plays a vital role in supporting the administrative and accounting functions within the organization. It primarily involves administrative duties, with a smaller focus on accounting responsibilities. The individual in this role must possess excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Position is 100% on-site for the first six months for training then can switch to one to two days a week remote. Please apply for immediate consideration.


Responsibilities


  • Process and distribute incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
  • Schedule appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements for staff members.
  • Assist with basic accounting tasks, such as data entry, reconciling accounts, and invoicing.
  • Assist in the preparation and coordination of company events, including meetings, conferences, and employee gatherings.
  • Provide general administrative support such as answering phone calls, managing correspondence, and maintaining office supplies.
  • Maintain and update employee records, databases, and filing systems.
  • Support the accounting team with maintaining accurate accounting records.
  • Handle ad-hoc administrative tasks as assigned by supervisors

  • File various IRS documents in a timely manner.


Experience Required


  • Experience with Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
  • Healthcare industry experience a plus.
  • 2+ years of administration and accounting experience.
  • Ability to work independently with strong time management skills.
  • HS Diploma required and an Associates or Bachelors degree a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
