THIS IS A PART-TIME POSITION WITH NO GUARANTEE OF A CERTAIN NUMBER OF HOURS AND NO BENEFITS. WORKING ON A TEMP/SEASONAL CONTRACT WHICH CAN BE RENEWED ANNUALLY BASED ON PERFORMANCE AND BUSINESS NEED.

NATURE OF WORK:
Responsible for small event rentals at Lake Eola Park. Responds to email and phone inquiries about rental events in a timely and professional manner. Meets with potential clients and provides site tours; answers follow-up questions by phone or email. Arranges for contracts to be signed and payments to be made. Ensures that clients have all necessary permits and insurance for their event. Arranges client walk-throughs of the site and provides day-of oversight of the event and clean-up. Enforces rules and regulations regarding rental and event use of the park. Provides support to Event Coordinator and other park staff.
WORK HOURS: Weekend availability and occasional evenings required.
High school graduate or equivalent required plus two (2) years administrative experience; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Must be comfortable working both indoors and outdoors. Demonstrated interest or experience in special events preferred. Must possess skills necessary to provide excellent customer service.
