As the Employee Success Partner at Decisions, you will play a pivotal role in fostering a culture of excellence and growth through strategic HR support. Reporting to the Director of Employee Success and Development, you will collaborate with senior leaders and managers to develop and execute HR strategies that align with business objectives. This dynamic role, based out of our global headquarters (WHQ) in Virginia Beach, VA offers an opportunity to influence organizational success by nurturing a productive, engaged, and empowered workforce.
Key Objectives
Objective #1: Strategic HR Partnership
  • Leverage your deep HR knowledge to provide guidance on policies, procedures, and compliance, ensuring seamless HR operations
  • Play a key role in driving organizational success by translating business needs into HR initiatives that enhance employee experience and business outcomes
  • Collaborate closely with senior leaders and managers to understand their business objectives and align HR strategies to support them effectively
Objective #2: Performance Management and Coaching
  • Provide guidance to managers on effective leadership practices and encourage continuous growth and improvement
  • Foster a culture of open communication, accountability, and growth within teams
  • Facilitate the performance management process, including setting goals, conducting performance reviews, and devising development plans
Objective #3: HR Program Development
  • Develop and implement HR programs and initiatives that drive employee engagement, retention, and professional development
  • Partner with talent acquisition to identify top talent and align recruitment efforts with organizational needs
  • Utilize HR metrics and data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and actionable insights, leading to data-driven decisions
Objective #4: Change Management and Employee Relations
  • Manage employee relations matters, offering guidance and solutions on conflict resolution, employee discipline, and dispute resolution
  • Play a pivotal role in supporting organizational change initiatives by effectively communicating change, addressing concerns, and ensuring successful implementation
Requirements
  • Proven coaching and mentoring expertise
  • Ability to influence senior leaders and managers through effective communication and collaboration
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to derive insights from HR metrics and data for informed decision-making
  • Capability to work independently and collaboratively, managing diverse priorities and deadlines
  • 5+ years of experience as an Employee Success Partner or HR Business Partner in a substantial organization
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing HR programs that align with business objectives
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, fostering relationships with stakeholders at all levels
  • Profound knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices
KPIs for this Role:
  • Diversity and inclusion metrics: Effectiveness of HR programs in supporting diversity and inclusion initiatives
  • Leadership effectiveness: Feedback from managers and leaders on HR's support in leadership development
  • Compliance metrics: Effectiveness of HR programs in ensuring legal and regulatory compliance
  • Manager Effectiveness: Efficiency of manager effectiveness measured by the adoption and use of 15Five
  • Employee Turnover and Retention: Measuring employee turnover rates and implementing strategies to reduce turnover and increase retention
  • Employee engagement survey results: Insights into employee engagement and satisfaction levels
  • Performance management metrics: Success of HR programs in supporting performance management
