You will have the chance to manage budgets, oversee payroll and hiring, handle day-to-day operations, and provide valuable support to our education programs. Responsibilities
Collaborate on budget preparation, monitoring, and projections
Analyze data, initiate payments, and process payroll
Coordinate the recruitment and hiring of part-time instructors and teaching assistants
Manage day-to-day operational activities, ensuring smooth departmental functioning
Maintain accurate documentation for registrations, payments, cancellations, and continuing education credits
Ensure program logistics and requirements are met to guarantee high-quality programs
Plan and execute marketing strategies to promote educational programs and services
Make minor updates to web pages to keep information current
Support in-person and virtual training sessions, programs, and courses as needed
Provide valuable insights for policy changes and program enhancements based on student feedback and evaluations
Actively participate in campus committees, community events, meetings, and affiliated activities
Create reports, program documentation, and oversee records retention
Represent the department at internal and external stakeholder meetings
May involve some evening work and local travel to support courses and events
Education And Qualifications
Associate's degree or higher
2 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Preferred: Experience with administrative and/or program support
Strong communication, organizational, and computer skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with meticulous attention to detail and adaptability to changing priorities
Capable of working both independently and collaboratively on tasks
Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging
