Manage initiatives with key business stakeholders including our client’s employees, boards, investors, lenders, customers, and any other third parties

Strong working financial modeling capabilities

Proficient experience or familiarity working in turnaround environments or under-performing companies (or their subsidiaries)

Manage work in a variety of restructuring, performance improvement, bankruptcy, turnaround and advisory engagements

Create, manage and analyze three statement financial modeling

Manage and enhance client relationships

Oversee, train and manage a team

The ability to create three statements models from scratch is required and will be tested on during the interview process.

Taking ownership of the candidate experience including offer process management

School event management (Campus Season presentations, Banker liaison)

Demonstrable experience managing projects with multiple requirements, dependencies and stakeholders

Close liaison with other Houlihan Lokey divisions including but not limited to Corporate Finance

Working with the relevant teams to ensure a smooth transition after offer through to onboarding

Be commercially astute and manage expenses, external partnering fees and general business recruitment costs sensitively and accurately

Prepare marketing materials, confidential information and management presentations, etc.

3-4+ years of investment banking experience or MBA Associate with 1+ years of investment banking experience

At least three years of investment banking or equivalent finance experience is required

Prior restructuring, distressed investing, leveraged finance, debt capital markets, or similar experience is required

Strong analytical abilities; including financial modeling skills

The ideal candidate should be motivated, creative and outgoing, and should possess strong skills in financial analysis

Excellent verbal and written communications skills

Exposure to Bankruptcy and Case Management

Assess and develop options based on financial analysis and project manage these to deliver a solution for a client

3-7 years of experience in Restructuring, Performance Improvement, Turnaround, and/or Investment Banking,

2 or more years of consulting, investment banking, restructuring, or private equity experience.

Strong interpersonal skills and comfortable communicating with all levels

Good communication skills, both written and verbal

Apply analytical skills to analyze financial statements, debt capacity, competitive positioning, and strategy.

10+ years of restructuring advisory or restructuring investment banking experience.

BA or BS in Finance and/or Accounting with an excellent academic record. MBA preferred.

Analyze, review, and negotiate transaction documents including key financial and operational provisions within purchase agreements and transitional service agreements.

CPA (including international equivalent) or CFA preferred.

The hired candidate will be based out of New York City. Ability to travel as needed
