What you'll do:

As an Early Career Kickstart: Warehouse Leader, you will contribute to the success of our facility by supervising the day-to-day warehouse and shipping operations, with a focus on safety, cost efficiency, continuous improvement on processes, and service. This Warehouse Leader will sharpen their leadership skills and learn executive business objectives through 3-6 months of training within the warehouse space. The purpose of this role is to build the Supply Chain bench for the market and division by effectively preparing leaders to lead intentionally to kickstart a successful career within PepsiCo.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the inventory system to aid in production scheduling
  • Build people capability through effective employee relations, hiring, training, and communication for frontline hourly personnel
  • Communicate and collaborate cross-functionally
  • You may require off-shift and weekend work with some travel (less than 5%)
  • This role may operate forklift, semis, and manufacturing equipment occasionally
  • Develop and motivate your team to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short- and long-term performance goals
  • Deliver effective change leadership while driving business changes and minimizing people impact
  • During this kickstart program you will act as a supervisor designate and learn how to lead every function of the warehousing operation and be prepared to execute all processes efficiently
  • Identify and execute productivity opportunities to help facility meet annual operating plan
  • Manage the receiving and delivery of raw materials/finished products in a timely manner
  • Provide timely service to sales department while minimizing warehouse and production costs
  • Maintain all housekeeping, safety standards, and required trainings
  • You will have a regular presence on the plant floor and occasionally lift up to 40 lbs
  • Utilize docks, warehouse layout, and route truck loading patterns that minimize loading time
  • Ensure the optimal inventory levels of full goods are maintained in order to fulfill daily sales needs
Compensation and Benefits:
  • The expected compensation range for this position is between $56,900 - $ 95,300 based on a full-time schedule

  • Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement
  • Bonus based on performance and eligibility; target payout is 8% of annual salary paid out annually.
  • Location, confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting actual starting salary

Qualifications

  • Safe driving record strongly preferred
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to get results through mentoring others, effective coaching, leading a team-based approach to decision-making
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in engineering, business, operations management, logistics, or similar field
  • Experience with supervising front-line staff in a performance-driven, challenging environment preferred
  • Microsoft Suite including Excel comprehension preferred
  • This position is limited to persons with indefinite right to work in the United States
