Boeing Global Services (BGS) is looking for a Procurement Agent to support based out of Fort Walton Beach, FL or San Antonio, TX.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Negotiates pricing and contract terms and conditions.
  • Engages stakeholders to ensure that program, customer, product and in-service strategies are integrated into source selection, negotiation and contracting strategies.
  • Performs continuous review and analysis of demand and supply.
  • Supports/executes sourcing strategies, negotiations and documenting of contracts and agreements.
  • Mitigates risks and issues.
  • Negotiates and contracts for products, services and technologies.
  • Prepares and executes proprietary information agreements.
  • Executes and tracks Fast Track purchase orders (Less than lead time emergent purchase requisitions)
  • Communicates performance expectations and metrics to evaluate and monitor supplier performance.
  • Optimizes execution of the supply chain balancing inventory, supply orders and schedule demand.
  • Prepares and executes negotiated contractual documents and binding agreements.
  • Manages supplier/subcontractor performance and relationship to ensure delivery, quality, financial stability and in-service performance.

This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at Fort Walton Beach, FL or San Antonio, TX. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.


Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Experience working both independently and in team environments
  • Negotiating, documenting and contracting for products, services and/or technologies.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Products like Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience in negotiating contracts or managing supplier performance
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Experience drafting, negotiating and executing contracts and subcontracts.
  • Experience in US-Government, FAR-compliant proposal and contract support
  • Experience with contracts/subcontracts including overarching/strategic agreements

Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+1 years' related work experience , 7 years' related work experience, etc.).

Relocation:
