Job Description

Job Title: Divisional Vice President of Operations

Job Type: Full-Time

Location: Onsite, Colorado Springs, CO

Compensation: $100,000 to $120,000


Job Summary

The Divisional Vice President of Operations will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the operational efficiency and effectiveness of our agency's operations. This leadership position will involve managing cross-functional teams, streamlining processes, implementing best practices, and driving operational excellence to achieve strategic goals and objectives.

Responsibilities

Strategy Development and Execution

  • Collaborate with the Executive Management Team (EMT) to define operational strategies that align with and support the company's vision, goals, and market trends.
  • Develop and implement plans to achieve operational excellence, optimize the client experience, streamline processes, and improve productivity across departments.
  • Monitor and evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational performance and identify areas for improvement.

Team Leadership and Management

  • Set performance objectives, conduct regular performance evaluations, coach leaders, and provide feedback to enhance individual and team performance.
  • Lead initiatives to improve internal communication, collaboration, and teamwork.
  • Assist in hiring and employee retention initiatives, including but not limited to implementing departmental onboarding programs to ensure new employees feel welcomed and equipped for success.
  • Oversee account assignments and transfers as well as other resource deployment solutions.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive work environment that aligns with the organization's values and promotes employee satisfaction.
  • Oversee and provide strategic direction to the operations team, including managers and supervisors, to ensure seamless execution of projects and deliverables.
  • Foster a collaborative and results-oriented culture, promoting teamwork, professional development, and employee engagement.


Process Optimization and Efficiency

  • Implement process improvement initiatives across departments, leveraging technology, automation, and best practices.
  • Develop and maintain operational policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure consistency and adherence to industry standards.
  • Ensure system and process adherence, refinement, and improvement.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize processes, reduce costs, and improve operational efficiency while maintaining high-quality standards.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Act as a liaison between operational teams and senior management, providing regular updates on operational performance, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with other divisional leaders and departments to ensure seamless communication, alignment, and coordination.
  • Drive cross-functional initiatives to enhance collaboration, streamline workflows, and achieve shared goals.

Risk Management and Compliance

  • Stay updated on emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in the digital marketing industry to proactively address operational challenges and capitalize on opportunities.
  • Identify and mitigate operational risks by establishing robust risk management processes and controls.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Proven track record of managing and implementing change initiatives.
  • Proven experience (8+ years) in a senior operations leadership role within a digital marketing company or a related industry.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing processes, strategies, and technologies.
  • Demonstrated success in driving operational excellence, process optimization, and efficiency improvements.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior management.
  • Bachelor’s (or master’s) degree in business administration, operations management, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
  • Knowledge of risk management, compliance, and quality assurance frameworks.
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and drive teams to desired results and outcomes.
