Assists the shipping function of the Distribution Center with data entry, printing labels, pick tickets and packing lists.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide back up to dispatch as needed
• Review orders for special instructions
• Maintain shipping label printers
• Maintain inventory of shipping labels and ribbons
• Key in tasks and print picking tickets and packing lists
• Other duties as assigned
• Process, print, and sort shipping labels

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications

• Education High School Diploma
• English language skills Must be able to read, write, and comprehend English
• Physical Demands essential to the job Able to lift maximum of 40lbs
• Work environment office and warehouse
• Basic understanding and use of MS Word and MS Excel applications
• Math skills Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide

Preferred Qualifications

• Work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other employees and organizations.
• Experience working in warehouse environment
• Interact professionally with other employees, customers and suppliers.
• Work effectively as a team contributor on all assignments.
• Perform quality work within deadlines with or without direct supervision.
