Job Description

General Summary
The Director Wholesale Finance leads the vision and strategy for financial responsibilities for the Brands Wholesale businesses. Along with the VP of Brand Finance, the position drives and influences the leadership team as the primary strategist for the brands wholesale business.


Reports to: VP – Brand Finance


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Influence planning and allocation strategies, processes, and procedures to achieve the financial objectives of the company; update and improve as needed to accommodate increased complexities.
  • Responsible for the Sales and Margin wholesale forecasts and budgets to achieve strategic objectives, working closely with the VP of Brands Planning
  • Strategic partner to Planning, Finance, Design and Sales teams to drive assortment architecture that delivers the company financial objectives.
  • Develop strong relationships across the organization to facilitate efficient and effective information flows and develop a keen understanding of the business to provide proactive insight; identify and recommend resolution for critical issues, opportunities, and risks.
  • Lead through financial perspective in interactions with Segment business partners, steers the business to stronger performance, and clearly, concisely, and directly engages in a dialog to highlight emerging problem areas bringing proposed solutions and actions to the discussion.

Qualifications
Experience:
  • A minimum of 10 years of finance experience in wholesale, brand or other multi-unit consumer business.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • MBA and/or CPA a plus.

Education:
  • BS/BA required in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics or Economics or similar analytical field
