This role will be a rotational talent development program designed to develop future leaders for our Global Financial Shared Services organization. The role will start in Pharma Contracts, where the new employee will be trained in the foundational concepts important across the organization. The goal is for employees to be moved to different roles within the organization based on need and development opportunities.
This role will have responsibility over loading and maintaining pharmaceutical contracts. This individual works with manufacturers to price change/add/delete items. In addition, this individual will add and remove customers from contracts per supplier direction.
This is a remote position! Ideal candidates will be based in Ohio.
What Finance Operations contributes to Cardinal Health
Finance oversees the accounting, tax, financial plans and policies of the organization, establishes and maintains fiscal controls, prepares and interprets financial reports, oversees financial systems and safeguards the organization's assets.
Finance Operations is responsible for the oversight and overall performance of the following core financial processes. This includes pricing administration, rebates, cash application, chargebacks, billing, accounts payable and employee travel & expense.
Responsibilities:
- In addition to PD maintenance, individual will also process specialty pharmaceutical distribution contracts
- Works with National Markets to ensure customer chain pricing is correct
- Support the broader team as an additional resource when needed
- Work with teams across the organization to problem solve the more complex issues
- Leverage proactive tools and analytics to identify and correct issues before they happen
- Develop customer specific process improvement
- This is a data heavy role using analytical tools and processes to root cause problem solve pricing and contracting disputes
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred
- Internship experience, or 1-2 years of experience preferred
