Major Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide tax support for the company’s business development initiatives.
• Analyze tax issues for various restructuring, M&A, integration, licensing, collaboration, and other strategic transactions.
• Provide comprehensive tax support, i.e., tax structuring, planning, analysis, and recommendations, and partner with stakeholders across the company-requires close collaboration and partnership with senior tax members and leaders across multiple functional areas to understand business needs and objectives.
• Coordinate with tax compliance and provision functions to ensure proper reporting of transactions.
• Monitor and analyze federal, state, and foreign legislative, regulatory and judicial developments for impacts to the company, risks opportunities and recommendations.
• Analyze, develop, and implement global tax planning strategies consistent with corporate tax objectives and company strategic vision.
• Work in a team of 6 other primarily tax lawyers and paralegal and coordinate the use of outside consultants where needed.

Required Skills:

• Strong organizational, analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
• J.D., bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, with LL.M preferred.
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in fast-paced environment.
• Well-rounded expertise in global operations, US and international tax issues, international tax planning, transfer pricing, and cross-border M&A.
• Strong tax accounting background.
• 7+ years corporate tax experience, preferably law firm and/or corporate tax department; can include relevant big 4 experience.
• Business oriented.

The starting compensation for this job is a range from $173,000 - $217,000 plus incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility).

The starting pay rate takes into account characteristics of the job, such as required skills and the geographic location where work is performed.

Final, individual compensation is decided commensurate with demonstrated experience.
