How You’ll Make An Impact


The commercial organization at SiriusXM is responsible for subscriber growth and revenue in the U.S. and Canada. It includes marketing, subscriber acquisition & retention, automotive & streaming growth, connected vehicle, aftermarket product development & retail sales, music for business, and aviation/marine data services. The Program Management Director & Chief of Staff will work with multiple teams within the commercial organization and the larger enterprise to develop, manage or improve cross-functional initiatives while also providing strategic and operational support to drive the Chief Commercial Officer’s (CCO) vision forward. You will partner with cross-functional groups to drive and ensure strategic alignment and maintain delivery of long- and short-term strategic and operating plans.


You should be capable of holding leaders accountable for deliverables and be a sharp critical thinker who can solve business issues.


What You’ll Do


Program Management


  • Synthesize complex and disparate information into relevant and easy-to-understand insights for the project team to act upon.
  • Ensure and analyze alignment of project outcomes across customer value, program scope (incl. budget & resources), and strategic business objectives and accordingly, leads the team to recommend specific courses of action.
  • Coordinate project planning and actively manages cross-functional project stakeholders, including making effective use of both formal and informal communication channels – schedule meetings with appropriate attendees; prepare agenda and materials.
  • Develop, refine, and continuously monitor progress against an accurate integrated program plan with critical dependencies and measurable milestones that form the basis of functional workstreams and deliverables.
  • Identify key decisions by senior leadership and lead the team to prepare for these discussions by ensuring presentation of balanced and clearly articulated representation of the relevant data, including trade-off decisions.


Chief of Staff


  • Drive or contribute to initiatives that may be undefined, span multiple initiatives and functional areas.
  • Support the CCO on any strategic or operational matters and interact with business leaders to develop a deep understanding of critical issues; engage the right people and data to focus the CCO’s time and attention on rapid resolution of issues or opportunities.
  • Plan content for leadership off-sites, Board of Director and All Hands meetings; and guide business owners on content development.
  • In collaboration with various stakeholders, distill and organize strategic recommendations for CCO’s approval on key decisions (anticipate requests for additional information, support with additional research or analysis and surface key takeaways).
  • Aggregate and track progress against operating and strategic action items emerging from key meetings.


What You’ll Need


  • 12+ years of experience in program management, business operations or other equivalent, relevant experience
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently -- prioritize and drive multiple projects successfully and manage a wide range of incoming requests and responsibilities
  • Program or project management certification a plus
  • Ability to work, communicate and influence successfully across different disciplines and different levels of seniority
  • High comfort level in drafting materials and communicating to an executive audience
  • 15+ years of business experience with substantial experience in strategy, marketing and operations.
  • Must have legal right to work in the U.S.
  • MBA preferred or equivalent, relevant experience
  • Expertise with collaboration (G Suite, Zoom, Slack, etc.) and project management tools (Monday.com)
  • Strong business acumen and a demonstrated ability to link strategic objectives to detailed project plans
  • Thorough knowledge of MS-Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) and Google Workplace
  • Adept at searching for program risks and enacting early mitigations or escalating appropriately
  • Strong organization skills including a meticulous attention to detail
  • Bachelor’s Degree


At SiriusXM, we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including your background and experience. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. We expect the base salary for this position to be in the range of $144,000 to $175,000 and will depend on your skills, qualifications, and experience. Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary short-term and long-term incentives. We encourage all interested candidates to apply.
