Overview


Mastercard’s Cyber & Intelligence (C&I) team is responsible for innovation, development and management of our world class products and services to address evolving risk and security needs and lead multi-product commercialization initiatives for all Mastercard’s global customers.


As part of this organization, the Cyber Threat Intelligence team is responsible for developing and managing cybersecurity related product and services which Mastercard offers customers across all related stakeholders including, consumers, issuers, acquirers, processors, and merchants.


The cybersecurity industry is a quickly expanding market, growing in response to diverse and costly global cyber threats targeting all business sectors. Cybersecurity is often inaccessible and cost prohibitive to many businesses and organizations. They struggle to understand the impact of the threats and how they apply. Our objective in C&I is to provide accessible and affordable cybersecurity solutions to our customers.

Role & Responsibilities


  • Recommend and influence product pricing and oversee the development of training and other product support materials for Mastercard's most critical products.
  • Negotiate complex business models, partnerships, transactions, and other commercial agreements.
  • Act as a subject matter expert, advocate, and champion for designated cyber security products to stakeholders building upon past practitioner-based experiences working with related threat data.
  • Responsible for overall Cyber Threat Intelligence product regional team revenue performance
  • Be responsible for supporting Mastercard Cybersecurity products in the cyber innovation domain on a global team. This role will focus on Cyber Threat Intelligence as it relates to these products and drive KPIs and go-to-market strategy.
  • Establish a trustworthy environment for two-way sharing of threat intelligence.
  • Translate stakeholder insights into differentiated value propositions for strategic segments and constantly evaluates the value creation process to drive world-class products.
  • Create and sustain a Cyber Threat Intelligence customer pipeline for new solutions.
  • Regularly provide customer feedback on pain-points and product gaps.
  • Engage with key stakeholders; issuers, merchants, consumer focus groups and governments to ensure detail viability study of proposed solutions. Understand customer cyber threats in the broader financial sectors and other industries.
  • Work with key stakeholders to develop product roadmaps and support customer onboarding, training, and support to implement and grow relationships. 
  • Test, challenge and improve product business cases for overall viability and financial validity, leveraging business and financial acumen.


All About You


  • Familiarity with existing and emerging security technologies, related risks, and business opportunities.
  • Considered an expert in cybersecurity as well as other related Intelligence/ Information Security disciplines.
  • Strong working knowledge of security technologies including the indicators of compromise and TTPs associated with different systems.
  • Knowledge of and experience with third party security applications, tools, and solutions.
  • Experience working across silos to demonstrate effective teamwork and a one-team approach.
  • Skilled in communication of complex security related topics including threat and risk analysis and mitigation technology and best practices.
  • Comfortable and experienced in client presentations and interactive discussions across various formats at all levels of an organization.
  • Understanding of cybersecurity landscape and major threats and trends that have garnered media attention.
  • Technical familiarity with existing and emerging security technologies, related risks, and business opportunities.
  • Experience and understanding of existing and emerging cyber security threats, mitigation techniques, security policy development and execution.
  • Knowledge of Security Operations Centers, Intelligence functions, and other Corporate Security team operations.

Atlanta, Georgia: $126,000 - $195,000 USD


Miami, Florida: $126,000 - $195,000 USD


O'Fallon, Missouri: $126,000 - $195,000 USD


Purchase, New York: $145,000 - $224,000 USD
