Director, Procurement (Remote) Jobs

OVERVIEW:
As Antelope’s Director of Procurement, this role will be responsible for developing and executing a procurement strategy that supports the organization's production goals and objectives. This role will lead the procurement team to manage the sourcing, contracting, and procurement of goods and services across the organization. This is a newly created role that will build and manage relationships across our network of suppliers and co-packers with an expectation to drive synergies, deliver cost savings, and procure high quality goods and services on time and within budget.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee the development and maintenance of procurement-related systems, tools, and technologies
• Build and maintain relationships with manufacturers and other key suppliers/vendors to ensure delivery of quality goods and services to support company objectives
• Collaborate with legal on contract negotiation and drafting and execution, including scope, quality, time and cost of service and other contract terms and conditions
• Develop and implement a procurement strategy that aligns with the organization's product development and production goals and objectives
• Monitor and report on procurement performance metrics, including cost savings, supplier performance, and product development and production cycle times
• Develop and manage procurement policies, procedures, and processes to ensure compliance with regulations and ethical standards
• Manage supplier relationships, including negotiations on all conflicts, questions, prices, deliveries and/or specifications
• Act as leader of the product operations team and key liaison on all procurement activities cross-departmentally
• Identify category risks and develop comprehensive risk mitigation/business continuity plans
• Identify cost-saving opportunities, negotiate contracts, and manage vendor relationships to maximize value for the organization
• Lead, coach, develop and train the procurement team to ensure all sourcing, contracting, negotiations and procurement activities are executed effectively and efficiently

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Exposure to new technologies and trends related to co-packing and contract manufacturing
• Strong analytical skills and ability to use data to inform decision-making
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience in developing and implementing procurement strategies that drive business results
• 7+ years of demonstrated progression in procurement, production, and/or supply chain management
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field, MBA preferred
• Strong negotiation skills and experience in managing supplier relationships
• Experience managing procurement-related systems, tools, and technologies
