Job Description
Our client is seeking a Director of Sales Channels to join their team!


Position Summary


The Director of Channel Sales will be responsible and accountable


for achieving revenue targets associated with all professional and collegiate team sales.


Additionally, the Director of Channel Sales will be responsible for design, execution, and


maintenance of all processes associated with the Channel Sales function. The Director


of Channel Sales reports directly to the Vice President of Growth and is a member of


the Growth Leadership Team. The Director of Channel Sales is responsible for

ROLE, RESPONSIBILITIES, and CRITICAL PROJECTS
  • Personally responsible for wholesale and gym sales quota
  • Review SOP creation for all Channel Sales processes
  • Train team members to support continual growth as a sales professional
  • Monitor the market and competitor products and activities
  • Exemplify company core values and create a supportive, high performing culture
  • Create and manage events for Channel Sales department
  • Optimize CRM strategy and utilization
  • Review of end-to-end sales process
  • Outline and manage sales budgets
  • Manage sales team and maintain sales operations
  • Learn, integrate, and exemplify Conscious Leadership framework as part of company culture
  • Integrate within the Growth function by identifying internal metrics to support partner growth (ex: introductions to all team registered dietitians, work with cross-functional leadership to identify meaningful partner agreement for customers).
  • Design, propose, and implement approved compensation plans that align to ROI expectations for the current stage of organization
  • Design of sales materials (pitch deck, scripts, etc.) centered around solutions based selling
  • Drive CRM compliance across function
  • Consistently achieve individual and team quotas across professional, college, and wholesale channels
  • Execute the following projects over the next 3 months:
  • Set quarterly and annual sales goals aligned to company growth targets and garner leadership alignment
  • Review customer activity, anticipate consumer needs and improve customer satisfaction both directly with customers and through company systems
  • Provide detailed sales forecasting supporting company S&OP processes


Qualifications


  • Sales CRM and/or project management experience
  • Travel will be required- up to 2-4x/month (seasonal)
  • 5+ years selling into professional and/or collegiate sports industry
  • Event set up and vendor management is a plus
  • Excellent people management skills
  • Health, wellness or fitness experience
  • 5+ years selling through a solutions-based sales approach
  • Deep relationships in professional and/or collegiate sports industry
  • Deep knowledge of the Client's customer and athletes/teams that represent our customer
  • Stakeholders and external partners at all levels of the organization
  • Experience in startup growth environment is a plus
  • Experience designing and creating sales processes
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to build strong relationships and work cross functionally with internal
  • Ability to work in remote/hybrid environment
  • BA/BS
  • Excellent time management skills and proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • 3-5 years experience as a Director of Sales or equivalent

  • UT or Los Angeles, CA
  • Position in the Mountain West and West Coast with the preferred location of Park City,
