Job Description
This is a remote position.


The Director of Sales supports Hope Squad’s Mission to, “reduce suicide through education, training, and peer intervention” and Vision of, “a Hope Squad in every school” by 1) leading a team to achieve sales goals and 2) maintaining and developing new partnerships with other sales channels.

  • Provide immediate selling strategies to deliver 2024 business results
  • Possess and demonstrate an understanding of the changing market dynamics in education and mental healthcare, industry trends, customer segmentation, customer data knowledge, and buying process.
  • Implementing and carrying out selling strategies and strategic sales plans which will help achieve overall Hope Squad sales goals and objectives.
  • Perform additional, related duties as assigned.
  • Join the Leadership Team and help strategically guide the company during this growth phase.
  • Manage sales from both direct and indirect channels
  • Assume a leadership role in the conversations with state-level departments, while assisting reps in penetrating existing accounts.

  • Lead the small but growing sales channels OUS.

  • Provide content respective of experience for Hope Squad outreach campaigns as needed.
  • Support State and National conferences through presentations and/or exhibitor sponsorship.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; Able to build and maintain relationships and rapport cross-functionally and with external organizations (e.g., clients/customers, dealers, vendors, contractors)
  • Handle a sales budget with fiscal responsibility. Establish relationships with key customers, key accounts, and associations to identify potential opportunities, and use resources to drive collaboration toward innovative solutions.
  • Diligently participate in our compliance program-related activities. Promote and nurture the highest standards of integrity, ethics, and compliance, and actively support initiatives, programs, trainings, and activities. Follow all applicable laws and regulations relating to business activities and Policies and the Hope Squad Business Code of Conduct.
  • Strong CRM skills (Zoho CRM a plus)
  • Experience: Required: 5 years of sales leadership experience; Preferred: Educational background

  • Education: Required: Bachelor’s Degree; Preferred: Master's degree or higher
  • Delivery of company revenue and new squad goals, per quarter and year
  • Provide ongoing performance management, mentorship, and development of the sales team. Drive business results by working closely with account executives to set and achieve territory objectives, while driving customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Able to work independently, with minimal supervision, and also work with a team.
  • The ability to demonstrate product knowledge, program/curriculum expertise, and new product introduction experience.
  • The ability to recruit, hire, and retain a professional and hard-working sales professional for each region.
