We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales and Business Development Representative to join our dynamic team. The primary responsibility of this role is to drive the growth and expansion of our customer and distribution base across various industries. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a vital role in establishing and nurturing relationships with customers, identifying new business opportunities, and maximizing revenue potential.
Responsibilities:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, leveraging pre-existing industry connections to drive sales growth.
  • Identify and target new customers and market segments, analyzing market trends and competition to capitalize on business opportunities.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales and business development plans to expand the customer and distribution base for our frozen food products.
  • Monitor sales performance, track key metrics, and provide regular reports to management, highlighting areas for improvement and recommending strategies for growth.
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations, negotiate contracts, and close deals to achieve sales targets.
Requirements:
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented with a tenacious approach to achieving goals.
  • Minimum of 5 years of sales and business development experience in the frozen food industry, preferably in grocery, food service, vending, convenience, or specialty food sectors.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to identify market trends, evaluate opportunities, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate product benefits and value propositions to customers.
  • Strong network of pre-existing relationships within the industry, facilitating easier access to potential customers and distribution channels.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Flexibility to travel as required to meet with customers and attend industry events (if necessary).
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
Location:
While it is preferred for candidates to be located in North East Oklahoma, we are open to remote work arrangements for exceptional candidates residing outside the area.
