Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for planning, organizing, and supervising the acquisition of new businesses/assets.
  • Implementation of continuous improvement and cost control.
  • Build Internal and external relationships to facilitate successful procurement of business/assets to grow the Clann Equity portfolio.
  • Execution of business growth and diversification plan within new acquisitions.
  • Ability to develop a forecast for resource planning for the deployment of people and equipment in the growth cycle of a business.
  • Perform independent financial analysis of P&L statements and Balance/Asset Sheets.
  • Responsible for leading and managing quarterly objectives and business continuity of an existing business portfolio.
  • Preparation of the annual budget, strategic plan for new business acquisition and maintenance/growth of legacy business.
  • Drive efficiency in business operations to increase operating income.
  • Carry out management duties, such as recruiting staff, organizing staff training, overseeing financial administration, and liaising and negotiating with suppliers, contractors, and other key stakeholders.
  • Develop Direct Strategic Marketing strategies for each applicable business unit to facilitate growth and expansion within legacy business units and new companies.
  • As a leader leading leaders, this position is responsible for upholding and mentoring others to embody organization values and uphold cultural vision.
  • Work cross-functionally with the Executive Team on executive summaries and prospectus for new business acquisitions.
  • Develop Pro Forma P&L Summaries for the basis of rapid assessment of business acquisition potential.
  • Support Operations planning for when additional people and fiscal resources are required to facilitate business growth and acquisition. Create business continuity through a deep bench of talent and cross training.
  • Identify new business opportunities and provide several scenarios to executive leadership of the best return on capital employed/return on investment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in business development and sales.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in a fast-paced working environment, preferably as a supervisor/manager.
  • Industrial sales experience highly preferred.
  • Travel up to 50%.
  • Ability to be flexible and dynamic; move from one opportunity to another seamlessly.
  • Excellent business acumen and creative thinking skills.
