JOB SUMMARY
The Director of Recruiting oversees all business processes within three or more regions including hiring initiatives, team, and people development, driving business results, and developing financials. This position is a key leadership position and collaborates with all areas of the business to provide insight on market trends and create strategies to drive talent fulfillment initiatives in support of Prolink’s client requisitions.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Manages Operations through Recruiting Managers
• Directors are responsible for four different areas of the business within the operations they support:
hiring initiatives, team, and people development, driving business results, and developing financials
• Fiscal responsibility to monitor and grow a P&L of $50M+
• Responsible for all hiring decisions within assigned markets/regions, including interviewing,
screening, and onboarding new employees as well as placement of new hires on recruiting
teams
• Coach and mentor Recruiting Managers
• Assist Recruiting Managers with techniques that improve the management of their teams
• Observe requirement meetings with the management team
• Discover each team member’s drivers and motivators
• Ensure all team members are trained in best practices, techniques, etc.
• Delegate out leadership responsibilities within assigned markets or regions
• Develop the future leaders of the company and assist in identifying high potential employees
• Work directly with all employees to ensure cohesiveness in reaching goals
Uses data tracker
• Hold all recruiting leaders in assigned region accountable to goals and metrics
• Understand the Top Accounts in each of your offices
• Understand the Top Targets in each of your offices and assist in determining or validating the recruiting
strategies to meet hiring goals
• Measure key performance indicators including Time to Fill, Submittal to Hire, retention
rates, extension/redirects, talk time, and finishes
• Strive for 100% Fill Ratio in all offices
• Facilitate the weekly collection of contractor timesheets and assist payroll in timely processing
Functional Thinking
• Work in conjunction with internal recruiting team and current employees to cultivate interviews
• Shadow the recruiting process and stay informed about the sales process to ensure optimal recruiting
best practices and client trends
• Lead daily meetings to ensure the recruiters are hitting metrics
• World Class interaction with all company staff including accounting, compliance, and human resources
Functional Process Improvement
• Ensure all recruiter development meetings are productive and scheduled weekly
• Assess the quality of each requisition the office is filling
• Identify and resolve causes of adjustments/invoicing in partnership with Director of Sales
• Be a part of driving overall company initiatives and goals through office role-play, outings, and lunches
MINIMUM POSITION QUALIFICATIONS / EDUCATION
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
• 3-5+ years of experience within the Staffing industry
• 1+ year of management experience within Staffing industry
• Minimum internal employee qualifications (in addition to overall position qualifications)
o 2 years tenure in a Recruiting or Fulfillment leadership role
o Legacy and impact in developing others to take on new role within Prolink
o Proven ability to develop a team to successfully achieving their quarterly EBRs, retain and grow
their talent on assignment
o Annual EBR achievement in current role
o Employee must be in good standing, not currently on a discipline model or have been written a
warning within the most recent 6 months
• Proven success on building and managing high performing teams, including but not limited to promoting internal team members as well as continuously growing and retaining TOA
• High level of professional integrity and accountability
• Able to network, communicate effectively, and build strong and genuine relationships
• Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities in an environment of change
• Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking
• Experience using internal and external data to manage expansion
• Results and deadline-driven
• Ability to work effectively in collaboration with diverse groups of people as well as independently
• Ability to travel as needed
• Ensures world class customer service for all external employees
• Requires ability to use a variety of business or technical programs to complete tasks
