Job Description

Make a difference in the lives of others with ITility. ITility is seeking a Director of People Operations to join our growing team.

The Director of People Operations is at the forefront of ITility’s efforts to enable the sustainable and scalable growth of our global team. You will be an architect and builder, focused on optimizing people-centered activities across our global company, such as hiring and onboarding, change management, performance management, employee recognition and internal communications. You will design and implement key programs, policies and processes to support employees at all stages. Through partnership with senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders, you will drive organizational change, leverage data and analytics to evolve programs and ensure ITility delivers world-class experiences to all employees.


As Director of People Operations, responsibilities will include:

  • Oversee the roadmap and administration of people-related programs and policies including, but not limited to, all stages of the employee journey, benefits, leaves of absence, HR & labor compliance while partnering with our talent acquisition team.
  • Drive critical people and cross functional projects & initiatives that are beneficial to employees in the US, UK, Germany and Italy, setting scalable frameworks as we expand our footprint globally.
  • Enable maximizing efficiency and upscaling processes, including proposing new or improved processes, guidelines, tools and systems to support the organization’s needs.
  • Build analytics capability to ensure key stakeholders have the right insight to inform decision making.
  • Design and implement key People Operations infrastructure in partnership with Talent Acquisition that will enable ITility to scale smoothly in the years to come.
  • Anticipate needs and proactively implement solutions to enable the growth of the business.
  • Continuously fine-tune programs through feedback loops, metrics, trends, key insights and detailed analyses
  • Administer and manage all legal workplace compliance policies and filings, including applicable labor laws, wages compliance, applicable labor laws, EEOC planning, Affirmative Action planning and support (filings, data collection, signage, etc.)


Your experience should include:

  • Excellent leadership and planning skills
  • Strong operational background with experience working in hyper-growth technology companies with teams in multiple states and international locations.
  • Superior organizational skills and excellent attention to detail
  • Strong project management skills and experience managing cross-functional relationships and priorities.
  • Minimum 10+ years of progression experience in HR operations
  • Excellent organization and interpersonal communication skills, tact and discretion in handling information, attention to detail, and strong work ethic. Ability to effectively collaborate and work with all levels.
  • Exceptional mastery of written and oral communication. Attention to detail for all written communications.
  • You are as comfortable with shaping strategy as you are with "rolling up your sleeves" to manage the day-to-day operations of a dynamic people function.
  • Experience working with multiple HR-related tools, including HRIS, performance management, compensation planning and benefit portals.
  • Minimum of 5 Years Government Contracting HR experience
  • Proven ability to plan, prioritize and drive to success multiple projects simultaneously with demonstrated subject matter expertise in HR and talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, people analytics, and employment law and people policies and processes.
