Job Details
- Talent Development: The Director will intentionally lead and develop others to lead the development of our greatest asset: our people. They will ensure this development through a regular and consistent coaching and feedback system that will provide regular and direct feedback on performance and goal progress.
- Customer Service: The Director will establish a cohesive, connected and collaborative relationship with the clientele. They will listen and serve the client in a manner that promotes a trusting relationship anticipating their needs for their organization and projects. They will follow through with our commitments on time and budget. They will look for and promote transparency around improving the client’s bottom line.
- Fiscal Responsibility: The Director will establish and lead our project management program to produce a fiscal outcome for the company. This will be accomplished by employing the companies fundamental budgeting, planning, monitoring, and forecasting processes that ensure a complete understanding the financial performance and status of each project. Our project management program will also establish a positive cash position and collecting our receivables on time.
- High Performance Teams: The Director will ensure the best available talent is hired to facilitate their plan. They will hire and facilitate the development of individuals who possess the required leadership and competency to produce a high-performing outcome for the company and clients. All teams will be established and staffed in a manner that will produce an “A-team” result. Our teams will encourage and produce a positive and engaging work environment where all members can achieve their professional goals. The company will endorse and ensure all team members understand how each contribute to the success of each other, the project and company.
- Leadership: The Director will develop professional and respectful leaders WHO will deploy the company systems and processes. They will lead with the pursuit of excellence in all business practices while serving the people and our clients.
- On time Execution: The Director will establish our project management program to ensure our schedules are used as a tool to proactively manage the on-time execution of the projects.
- Safety: The Director will demonstrate, establish, and execute a culture of safety within the business and projects. They will demonstrate will pursue business goals without sacrificing the health and welfare of our people. They will encourage positive behaviors on each project and work with HSE to solve challenges that may occur.
- Operational Excellence: The Director will execute their business strategy in a consistent, predictable, and reliable manner. They will strive for Operational excellence that creates a simple, effective, and valuable outcome. They will establish a program that will produce lower operational risk, lower operating costs, and increased revenues relative to our competitors, thus creating bottom line results for the organization, customers and shareholders. The Director will lead in a manner that promotes continuous improvement, lean thinking, Six Sigma and learning from our lessons; thus, incorporating all that back into the system and customer service program.
- Quality Product: The Director will lead a culture and program that produces a high quality and performing outcome. We will honor our quality standards, engineering standards and quality methods that produce the produce promised.
- 15+ years of Construction experience and a proven construction background.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (equivalent is 8 years of construction experience) in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, Project Management or related field from an accredited university.
- Must have a valid current passport for travel (including air travel) outside the U.S.
- Strong leadership abilities and interpersonal skills; excellent verbal and written communication.
- Must have a valid current driver license, eligible for corporate vehicle insurance coverage.
- Extensive travel required.
- 5+ years of construction project experience required.
- Demonstrated experience in Construction Management and leadership of people.
