What You'll Do
As the Director of Marketing, you will take the lead in strategically developing our yearly marketing plan, implementing best practices to boost membership, and ensuring that all marketing objectives are effectively carried out by the team. Your role involves:
Developing annual, quarterly, and monthly budgets, goals, and strategies.
Overseeing the implementation of marketing strategies, encompassing customer service, social media, and digital campaigns to secure memberships.
Managing our social media presence and implementing programs to enhance our reputation and recognition.
Crafting marketing and communication strategies that resonate with our audience.
Continuously analyzing the competitive landscape and customer trends.
Generating new leads and identifying target markets, devising strategies to engage with them.
Providing training, coaching, and mentoring to the marketing team, aligning them with THSC policies and processes.
Team Leadership
In collaboration with THSC leadership, Events, Technology, and other teams, you will promote our brand, membership, special events, and organization-wide projects. Managing marketing strategies and communications for major events will be part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you'll be tasked with maintaining and exploring improvements to THSC systems, processes, products, and services to enhance profitability.
It'll Be Awesome If
You have a minimum of 5-10 years of experience in sales, marketing, or a related field.
You are proficient with computer programs like Office, Asana, and HubSpot.
You are familiar with the homeschooling community.
You have experience in non-profit or charitable work.
Some travel is required (though not extensive).
