Long Description


LEARNING BUSINESS PARTNER –(Director)


This role will work closely with our operational business units, to build a deep understanding of their strategies and enable identification and diagnosis of capability gaps which will affect the business from achieving its goals. This role involves advising the business on suitable learning solutions which will drive organizational performance while building strong relationships with a complex range of stakeholders, collaborating, and challenging to ensure best learning solutions are delivered.


Job Duties And Responsibilities


  • Collaborates with top performers and subject matter experts to diagnose the root cause of capability gaps and issues that contribute to strategic business and learning needs and validate needs. Where gaps exist, propose relevant learning solutions and work with necessary stakeholders to reach agreed learning plan.
  • Ascertain the learning needs within a defined business area, unit, or group and collaborate with relevant stakeholders to agree the demand and training plan.
  • Uses effective employee data and analytics to gain insights to learning impact to the business, capability gaps shifts and ongoing learning needs and demonstrates value of learning interventions by linking to the business objectives.
  • Balance unique BU learning needs with corporate initiatives and strategy to create optimal solutions and plans
  • Assist with management of a portfolio of learning projects to ensure high quality deliverables are produced with the time and cost constraints set for each project
  • Build a deep understanding of the business area – strategies, goals, challenges, and capability gaps and propose learning solutions to address the need.
  • Responsible for the execution, delivery, and program management of multiple learning solutions across various lines of business. Program execution can include planning, communicating, budgeting, documenting, and scheduling all aspects of the program. Manages participant assignments, enrollments, and training plans.
  • Develop strategies to build business knowledge, gather information and build key networks to be able to analyze and interpret current and future learning needs.


Long Description


THE IDEAL CANDIDATE


  • Demonstrates advanced knowledge of adult learning principles and concepts, instructional design theory, measurement and evaluation methods, and technical capabilities to manage a wide variety of projects
  • Experience in establishing credibility with HRDs and business executives, with a strong ability in delivering solutions
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills
  • Previous experience in a HR/Learning & Development role
  • Strong project management and strategic planning skills


Qualifications


  • Bachelor of Business Administration or related degree required.
  • 3+ years managerial experience required.
  • Excellent reconciliation and proactive critical thinking skill
  • Must have a PHR/SPHR certification or a strong desire to obtain.
  • 3+ years directly related Talent Development experience required
  • Must have strong experience in business partnering, strategy, organization development, change management, employee relations. Ability to analyze HR metrics to use in developing division strategies.
  • Excellent business literacy and Southwire culture knowledge preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills along with exceptional interpersonal skills required
  • Must be proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and SAP is a plus
  • Experience in a manufacturing plant/environment preferred.
