Job Description
Overview
IMC Marketing Coordinator
This position serves as the support to the Integrated Category Marketing Team. The team leads are the main point of contact for vendor / brand partners across Sally Beauty and BSG as it relates to 360 marketing activity. Close collaboration with merchandising and channel partners is critical to ensure that the proposed plans align with the merchandising and marketing priorities strategies set in place by Sally Beauty and BSG. Strong attention to detail, project management capabilities, understanding of omni-channel marketing, and best-in-class communication skills required. You will be instrumental in working cross-functionally within the marketing organization and across the business.
Marketing Support & Reporting
  • Ownership of the communication to cross channel partners of all promotional changes
  • Support marketing team with ad-hoc requests.
  • Maintain monthly marketing, merchandising, priority SKUs and launch details/reporting.
  • Assist with research of product launch & category trends.
  • Monthly planning, preparation, validation & execution of BSG Shopping Guide.
  • Own and develop quarterly photoshoot timelines, communication with buyers & Creative Directors.
  • Track promo changes, SKUs, forecasts, launch details
  • Own updates to IMC Cross Cap Calendar and tactical management
Communications
  • Weekly action items & communication with in-store signage team.
  • Attend weekly SBU meetings, reporting & communicate weekly action items to Sr. Category Managers/Sr. Director.
Administrative Support
  • Assists in the development of omni-brief marketing campaign plans as needed
  • Product launch tracker & marketing support one-sheets.
Requirements
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong project management and planning skills
  • Ability to multi-task and be flexible.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office. Smartsheet and Google docs a plus.
  • Strong verbal communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 1-2 years of experience in marketing
