Job Description
About Our Organization

At Kalderos, we are building unifying technologies that bring transparency, trust, and equity to the entire healthcare community with a focus on pharmaceutical pricing. Our success is measured when we can empower all of healthcare to focus more on improving the health of people.

That success is driven by Kalderos' greatest asset, our people. Our team thrives on the problems that we solve, is driven to innovate, and thrives on the feedback of their peers. Our team is passionate about what they do and we are looking for people to join our company and our mission.

That's where you come in!

We're looking for a Director of Growth Strategy to join our interdisciplinary team of strategists and operations enablers fueling our company's disruption of the healthcare industry and supporting Kalderos' scaled growth – in what we offer today and in the future. In this role, you will blur the lines of strategy, new ventures commercialization, ops enablement, and cross functional work to drive future-leaning initiatives beyond today's business. This role will collaborate closely with leaders in the organization and across functions -- requiring someone who can bring a collaborative, strategic, and analytical mindset to fuel growth and to tackle new-and-challenging opportunities at Kalderos.

At the onset of this role, we anticipate this team member to focus a large portion of their time on new solution innovation as part of a focused and dynamic cross-functional team at the forefront of tackling key challenges facing our marketplace.

What impact you'll have:

Drive innovation and next horizon of solutions: By bringing to life new solutions, business, and economics models that will serve as the next frontier of market solutions

Evaluate and commercialize new growth spaces: By identifying and assessing new product and service innovations that will define the next horizon of Kalderos' platform, with an ability to both balance quantitative and qualitative lenses while partnering across the organization

Guide strategic partnerships: By serving as a trusted partner who engages and guides strategic partnership initiatives/programs

Propel company-wide strategic initiatives: By partnering closely with senior leadership to develop and execute company-wide strategic priorities

Define and enable new operational capabilities: By acting as a 'trailblazer' for the organization to mature internal operations that unlock how we scale and service customers

Guide cross-functional initiatives: By collaborating closely with leaders in the organization to prioritize strategic, operational, and platform initiatives assuring our ability to scale and continually generate more value to the stakeholders of our ecosystem

Our team is looking to add more highly collaborative, autonomous problem solvers who enjoy flexing a variety of skills and being exposed to a variety of topics. As such, we will have some flexibility matching the role/title to find the right new team member and fit.

What you'll bring:

  • Demonstrated experience and/or interest in healthcare
  • Demonstrated strategic and analytical skills with a passion for problem solving and driving executable insights
  • Ability to lead in-depth analysis and become an 'expert' to identify new opportunities and value drivers for external healthcare industry partners and internal team members
  • A self-starter with the ability to thrive and deliver results in an ambiguous environment
  • At least 6 years of post-undergraduate experience that includes experience within top-tier management consulting, business strategy, or innovation roles
  • A clear communicator who brings structure to complex problems and facilitate collaborative outcomes with internal and external stakeholders
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, or related fields. Graduate degree in business or other relevant fields is preferred
  • The ability to flex your role as a collaborator, individual contributor, and leader of cross-functional teams
  • Experience conducting market/industry assessments and business model innovation -- moving from initial opportunity definition and diligence to formulating the launch of new products or services in market
  • Experience conducting secondary and primary research activities, including analysis, synthesis, and insight identification
  • Intellectual curiosity with a passion for tackling difficult problems in collaborative environments

Set yourself apart:

  • Experience developing growth strategies for platform/technology companies
  • Demonstrated experience leading both internal teams and external programs
  • Experience within the healthcare, healthcare tech, fintech, or at a SaaS startup

Salary: $150,000 - $170,000

  • We empower each other: from our DEI Council to affinity groups for underrepresented populations we believe in ensuring all voices are heard.
  • We know the importance of feedback in individual and organizational growth and development, which is why we've embedded it into our practice and culture.
  • We thrive on collaboration, because we believe that all voices matter and we can only put our best work into the world when we work together to solve problems.
