Director Of Education Jobs

Nécessaire is looking for a collaborative, results-driven, and strategic leader to join our growing team. This dynamic person will deliver retail sales growth by creating and executing an education and training strategy. Reporting to the Director of Retail, this person will hire and train a field team.

Responsibilities

• Manage the education budget and prioritize resources in partnership with retail and finance teams.
• Own the development and execution of an education and training strategy for Nécessaire.
• Own in-store training for your local market and travel as needed to support the team and business (up to 20%).
• Lead and influence internal teams to create educational content at the brand and product level. Key partners include: brand founder, product, marketing, and creative teams.
• Recruit, train, and manage an in-store field sales team.
• Advocate and create relationships with retail partners (field and education teams).
• Employ business acumen to actively manage and deliver sales growth. Develop the tools and programs required to hit sales targets.
• Create and execute an events strategy.

Qualifications

• Prior experience training teams in store (ideally in a multi-branded beauty or luxury environment)
• Must have a valid driver's license and be willing to travel and work in retail stores
• Beauty retail experience and existing relationships are a plus
• 10+ years of experience in education or sales
• Experience managing field sales teams and developing the infrastructure to support
• Inspirational, energetic, charismatic, and inclusive individual with strong teaching and communication skills
• Sales and business acumen with a proven track record of delivering results
• Highly collaborative and resourceful leader who thrives in a fast paced, startup environment
