HealthEquity is hiring a Director of Digital Workspace dedicated to team-member experience and technical excellence. What you’ll be doing
- Improve quality and responsiveness of support services by focusing on continuous improvement of interaction and service between remote support and other functional areas of company.
- Provide premier support by working with all technical staff in the implementation of improved near and long-term services from the digital workspace support teams, including the technical design, testing and implementation of hardware and software systems that enhance the desktop environment.
- Develop and maintain digital workplace policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and excellence
- Lead the implementation of digital workplace solutions that support remote work and collaboration, including cloud-based tools, mobile applications, and virtual meeting platforms
- Lead the desktop, laptop and VDI computer systems infrastructure, including providing a secure, efficient workstation environment to allow the business to maintain a high level of productivity across all departments within the organization.
- Develop and implement a digital workspace strategy
- Collaborate with multi-functional teams to assess business needs and design solutions
- Oversee the audit of desktop and application security practices and department operations and performance on an ongoing basis to mitigate risks, meet Company standards, and exceed customer service expectations.
- Lead a team of technology professionals, providing guidance, and support to ensure high-quality work and continuous improvement
- Benchmark, analyze, report on, and make recommendations for the improvement of the enterprise desktop environment supporting core objectives including research and evaluation of new technologies.
- Run and maintain the digital workplace infrastructure, including endpoint architecture, security protocols, and software applications
- Oversee the administrative and human resources activities of the digital workspace teams, which includes but is not limited to budget development and monitoring, hiring and assigning employees; coaching, training and evaluating employees; coaching, counseling and managing performance; and making salary, merit or other pay increase recommendations. Ensures staff receives proper training on products, systems and services. This position may also make recommendations and/or take corrective action to handle performance as appropriate.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies related to digital workspace solutions
What you will need to be successful
- Superb written and verbal communication and the ability to interact and collaborate effectively with business partners and IT end users with a strong customer service orientation is essential.
- Excellent organizational and time management and the ability to perform work with little direction and work on multiple projects simultaneously; manage diverse operations consisting of tight deadlines and high-pressure situations; and multi-task and function well in a stressful environment.
- 5+ years of direct responsibility leading teams of technical staff.
- Previous coaching and performance management experience with both central and remote staff members
- Expert understanding and working knowledge of the following operating systems, software packages, programs and technical areas: Apple, Mac, Windows, Microsoft .NET technology and Azure Active Directory, Exchange Online, MS windows 7/10/2012R2/2016, MS office suite, M365 administration, Network connectivity trouble shooting, Visio, MS Project
- Available during PST hours as needed to respond to emergency calls is required.
- A demonstrated ability to resolve complex process/systems issues through the identification and analysis of problems from root cause to strategy development and execution is necessary.
- The ability to oversee technical support operations for a Microsoft based Enterprise organization as normally obtained through a minimum of 7 to 10 years of progressive responsibility in the following areas: Cloud applications, desktop, server, network, Microsoft applications, systems and on-premises application maintenance. Experience should also include facilitation of assessment of information security risks for major processes, systems and projects, ITIL methodologies, and Azure DevOps.
- Great leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively motivate employees and resolve conflicts.

The actual compensation offer is determined based on job-related knowledge, education, skills, experience, and work location.
