Job Description

Somnia Anesthesia Services, based in Harrison, NY, is looking for a dynamic, experienced Director of Client Development to join their rapidly growing sales team!


POSITION SUMMARY:

The responsibilities of the Director of Client Development will include identifying, prospecting, and securing business opportunities to support new revenue growth for Somnia Anesthesia Services.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop an understanding of all anesthesia services and be able to identify opportunities with prospective clients; also gathering client information regarding services needed
  • Collaborate with internal teams, such as marketing and operations, to develop customized proposals and deliver exceptional client experiences
  • Develop and implement sales strategies for new account prospects and growth opportunities for anesthesia services in multiple states, focusing on hospitals, ambulatory centers and office practices. These strategies may include sales/solutions calls, networking/marketing activities, competitive analysis, coordination of presentations and proposals, and client meetings
  • Interact with leads in person as well as via email/phone
  • Work closely with internal team and external partners to strategize and build pipelines of quality prospects for profitable business
  • Conduct market research and actively pursue leads that come in through direct marketing process. Track trends, opportunities, competitors and challenges for sales.
  • Leverage existing client relationships to expand anesthesia service offerings in named accounts with existing activity in other geographies.
  • Meet regularly with sales and operations teams to review/coordinate sales efforts and build territory business plan.

  • Must be willing and able to travel up to 75% of the time
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 5-10 years of complex experience in sales, business development or client development. This role requires detailed understanding of the anesthesia and healthcare industry
  • Has a strong sense of urgency; highly motivated.
  • High personal integrity, great work ethic and attitude.
