Driven by customers developing zero-emissions vehicles in automotive, aviation, motorsports, and maritime applications, we are growing rapidly and are looking for a few key people to join our small but mighty team.
We’ve been building a start-up in the Detroit area and have reached an inflection point in our growth. We are looking for someone to lead business development and marketing. We already have important parts of the team in place, and now need to identify the optimal future state, and execute a plan to get us there. Role Summary
This position is a leadership role responsible for the day-to-day direction, management, and vision necessary to ensure that the company has the appropriate marketing and business development structure in place to grow the business. This person will understanding the mechanics of marketing and business development , and provide strategic direction and hands-on execution for the business. Our products are marketed and sold on value. Our approach to business development is understanding our customers, listening, acknowledging their pain points, and bringing innovative solutions. Yes, our products have outstanding features, and we want to bring value to our clients.
Responsibilities
  • Harness demand by instilling accurate sales forecasts and analysis of key performance indicators
  • Provide exemplary day-to-day leadership, judgement, vision, and management to accomplish the core values, goals, and objectives of the company
  • Establish yearly and quarterly sales goals and lead the sales team to achieve targets
  • Provide a world class customer experience
  • Develop markets through analysis and research
  • Define marketing and business develop strategy that is value based
  • Identify customers via market data, understanding demand, trends, and consultative approach
Qualifications
  • Minimum of five years of proven business development and marketing
  • Proven results in $10M+ business development and marketing roles
  • Understanding of technical, design, and consultative offerings
  • Stellar collaboration both internally and externally
  • Exceptional communication skills
