What You’ll Do

• Collaborates with other IT leaders and stakeholders to identify and address information security risks and vulnerabilities
• Ensures compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements, such as HIPAA, HITECH, and PCI-DSS
• Develops and implements comprehensive information security programs, policies, and procedures to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of healthcare data and systems
• Develops and delivers security awareness training to employees and contractors to ensure they are aware of their responsibilities and obligations regarding information security
• Conducts regular security assessments, penetration testing, and vulnerability scanning to identify and mitigate security risks and vulnerabilities
• Oversees the deployment, operation, and maintenance of security technologies, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption technologies
• Develops and maintains disaster recovery and business continuity plans for the organization's critical systems and data
• Oversees a team of security professionals to ensure measures and controls are in place to protect the organizations systems, networks and data
• Responds to and manages security incidents, including conducting investigations, analyzing root cause, and implementing remediation plans

What You’ll Need

• Advanced knowledge of network and systems architecture, including cloud-based environments
• Seven (7) years of experience in Information Security with at least three (3) years in a leadership role required
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM or CRISC are highly desirable
• Advanced knowledge of security frameworks and regulations, such as NIST, ISO, HIPAA, HITECH, and PCI-DSS.
• Intermediate communication and leadership skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders
• Experience leading IT teams in a multi-location retail or healthcare environment preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology Management, or a related field required with a Master’s degree preferred
• Experience in managing security technologies, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption technologies required
