Position: Director – Healthcare CoE & Delivery

Factspan is seeking a Director, who will provide direct client consulting and leadership services including providing objective advice, expertise and specialized skills in healthcare and hospital management policy, strategy, operations and management with the aim of creating value, maximizing growth and/or improving the business performance of clients.

The Director of Healthcare COE & Delivery will offer deep domain knowledge, business & technical expertise, and collaborative leadership in the ongoing development and direction for assigned practices including integrity of operational processes, patient access, operations budgets, human resources, regulatory compliance, and standardization of operational activities. The Director of Operations will partner with the Practice Managers to ensure efficient day-to-day operations and strong financial performance.

Responsibilities & Expectations

General Responsibilities

• Lead complex analytics and consulting projects related to claims, population health, and clinical operations related projects for a large US-based clients.
• Demonstrated Expertise in building AI enabled Enterprise Software product with Predictive Analytics and Scenario Simulation capabilities using Subject/ Patient /Entity level data from EHR, Claims, Clinical Trials and Registry Data.
• You are expected to travel as needed to meet the needs of client servicing, marketing, and business development. You understand that work may require periodic availability on weekends, and at nights.
• Experience of overall practice/hospital and clinic operations of multiple sites that support the general healthcare and hospital management goals and objectives.

Consulting Services:

• Perform assigned and agreed upon project tasks maintaining client satisfaction through proactive project management; take ownership of work and produce “client-ready” deliverables with minimal supervision.
• Responsible for monitoring data integration feeds into Cerner/EPIC and analytics tools and escalating to appropriate parties when data feeds are missing or incomplete.
• Consult operations stakeholders on comprehensive workflows for Cerner/EPIC processes, including current state and future state, to determine how technical solutions will be designed and tested.
• Advise on and develop solution recommendations based on Cerner/EPIC technical capabilities.

Business Development:

• Actively provide proposal development assistance including proposal drafting, editing, scope development, and related duties as necessary.
• Actively seek to identify new business opportunities for the Firm within assigned clients to help maximize long-term benefits and relationship between the client and Factspan.
• Use personal industry knowledge, connections, business expertise, public policy awareness and political insight to identify leads that could result in profitable revenue growth for the Firm.
• Coordinate with the marketing team to produce and review content for selected internal and external marketing tools, such as Firm newsletters, conference presentations, website content, and marketing webinars, to highlight the Firm’s capabilities, subject matter expertise, and successes.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES:

• 10+ years of Hospital/Healthcare Information Management (HIM) operations experience
• Bachelor's degree and 10 or more combined years in a public healthcare policy management role, public administration, and/or in the healthcare consulting industry; advanced degree in Public Policy, Public Administration, Public Health, Health Administration, business, economics or MBA or additional relevant experience in lieu of such advanced degree preferred.
• Preferred certifications: RHIA or RHIT
• Cerner/EPIC system experience.
