Director, Diversity and Inclusion

The Director, Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) will serve as the subject matter expert and be responsible for the design, development and delivery of a global multi-year D&I strategy to achieve business goals and enhance diversity and inclusion across Mosaic. This role will serve as a trusted partner to senior leaders by helping align and connect strategic initiatives across the organization and lead cross-functional efforts to embed D&I into our business.

Where You’ll Work:

This is a hybrid role that is based out of our FishHawk office (located at 13830 Circa Crossing Drive, Lithia, FL). Presently, our Learning team works 3 days per week onsite and 2 days remotely. You can expect to spend ~20% of your time traveling within the U.S. and Canada and internationally.

What You’ll Do:

D&I Strategy Development: Design, develop and deliver a global multi-year D&I strategy to achieve business goals and enhance diversity and inclusion across Mosaic.


  • Lead and establish strong culture change management across the organization.
  • Work to translate global business needs into concrete action plans utilizing data analysis to inform recommendations and decision-making.
  • Work with business units on strategies for continuous improvement of initiatives.
  • Collaborate on development of program governance structure for sustainability and value.
  • Work to develop internal and external benchmarks on program maturity and growth opportunities.
  • Own and drive execution of key program elements in collaboration with team members.
  • Collaborate across business functions to embed D&I into business systems, practices, employee work life and drive development of strategic business goals and initiatives.

Employee Inclusion Networks: Lead the global Employee Inclusion Network program to ensure sustainability, value creation, engagement and drive business outcomes as well as build strategy for continued enhancement and development. Continued development and assessment of key performance indicators for value delivery.

Reporting and Analytics: Partner in the development of Key performance indicators to track success of program and establish qualitative and quantitative goals within ESG. Partner with HR People Analytics to create data visualizations and storytelling to effectively communicate D&I insights to leaders and influence decisions and outcomes.

People Leadership: Lead, develop and coach employees to recognize strengths, encourage personal growth and learning and development in order to retain and expand talent through focused attention and effort. Provide timely and constructive feedback on a regular basis to ensure employees have a clear understanding of their work, roles and the business and how to drive value added deliverables. Manage performance issues when necessary. Work with employees on their career development plans.


  • Partner with Talent teams to diversify candidate pipelines, inform strategy to strengthen talent pools, develop internal talent skill sets, measure engagement and identify opportunities.
  • Assess, develop and inform global policies and practices for inclusion.
  • Inform Community Giving strategies with D&I expertise.
  • Other job duties and projects as assigned.
  • Design, coordinate, and facilitate conversations, meetings, presentations, learning opportunities and other strategies that promote diversity and inclusion across the global organization.

  • Deep knowledge of diversity management practices, concepts and trends
  • A degree in Human Resources, Business, Ethics, or related field
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Teams, Power BI
  • Excellent verbal, written and listening communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt to a continually changing business and work environment and manage multiple priorities
  • Demonstrated ability to build consensus in diverse groups
  • 10+ years of experience leading diversity and inclusion programs with a large global corporation
  • Experience in development and roll out of diversity training programs
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proven ability to partner with and challenge the business
