Introduction

Optimizely is looking for a highly skilled Email marketing Manager to oversee our email marketing campaigns from ideation to execution. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in creating email campaigns that increase customer engagement and drive revenue growth. This position requires a creative thinker with a strong understanding of email marketing best practices and metrics.

Job Responsibilities

  • Continuously monitor and optimize email campaigns for maximum effectiveness and engagement.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of database segments and their email preferences.
  • Own prospect database and continuously implement new strategies to grow the engagement.
  • Develop and implement email marketing strategies that support business objectives and drive revenue growth.
  • Analyze email campaign performance and provide regular reports to key stakeholders.
  • Manage the email campaign calendar, including planning and execution of email campaigns across multiple segments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create content for email campaigns that align with brand guidelines and resonate with the target audience.
  • Create and manage nurture email campaigns based on customer behavior and engagement.
  • Stay up-to-date on email marketing trends, best practices, and industry standards.

Knowledge and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for developing engaging email campaigns that resonate with the target audience.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally with teams across the organization.
  • Experience with email marketing platforms, such as Marketo
  • Strong understanding of email marketing best practices and metrics.
  • 4+ years of experience in email marketing, with a focus on lifecycle campaigns.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Analytical mindset with experience in data analysis and reporting.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Education

Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
