Job Description

This position will work within our Marketing Department to promote Carolina Handling. This position will have significant opportunities for impact to the organization’s brand and community presence. A key member of the Marketing team, the Digital Marketing Specialist provides project management and administrative support, assists with marketing operations as assigned by the Director of Marketing. Works independently on special projects according to agreed timelines and special requests.


WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Review and leverage competitors’ digital initiatives/tactics
  • Execute digital marketing plan and create marketing support materials in conjunction with Marketing department
  • Daily POC with vendors for content calendar, management of digital design, website, digital media
  • Optimize paid advertising campaigns using SEO and other digital tools
  • Work with third-party digital ad placement vendor to develop content
  • Responsible for digital campaigns and platforms including but not limited to; website and content management, digital ads/campaigns, SEO, collateral design, presentation creation, weekly email/eblast (CRM), adding in drip campaigns
  • Responsible for proactively developing, aligning and executing digital marketing campaign plans that deliver consistent, effective messaging
  • Develop, implement and maintain consistent corporate brand/image voice across all digital facing marketing tactics
  • Develop and implement email campaigns (targeted drip campaigns targeting potential new customers)
  • Work in conjunction with internal team on the design, production, inventory and distribution of sales support collateral and materials
  • Maintain relevant content/subject matter to support company/department goals and strategies
  • Measure and report ROI on all digital marketing efforts
  • Measure digital results and ROI
  • Maintain awareness of digital marketing trends

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS TO BE CONSIDERED

  • Competent in communicating and building relationships throughout the organization, strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Adept with assimilating and disseminating information in a professional manner
  • Must be proficient in CMS platforms, Google Analytics, CRM platforms (SalesForce preferred), SEO tools, and other digital marketing platforms
  • Capability to manage small to complex projects from beginning to end, successfully balance multiple projects, and ensure timely and successful project completion
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications or similar required
  • Comfortable working with a team approach - work with others in pursuing common goals, open to cross-training and learning all facets of our Marketing department
  • A minimum of two years’ experience in digital marketing developing, implement, and manage marketing campaigns promoting the organization's products and services
  • Positive attitude with a high level of accountability, personal drive and strong work ethic as important as experience
  • Understanding of digital messaging creation, storytelling, and brand development
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products including MS Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Team-oriented, customer-centered drive with a passion to learn in a fast-paced, goal/deadline-driven atmosphere driving digital marketing efforts
  • Demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills
