Digital Graphic Designer Jobs

Contract-to-hire Digital Graphic Designer needed with retail, e-Commerce or advertising agency experience.
JOB TITLE: Digital Graphic Designer
LOCATION: REMOTE but Bay Area, CA preferred
HOURLY RATE: $40-50/hr (W2 + benefits)
DURATION: 6+ months - conversion to full-time highly likely
JOB SUMMARY: Working under the direction of an Art Director, you will execute the work for specific retail verticals to create compelling omni-channel campaigns, from concept to final execution. Output will be mostly digital, but a traditional graphic designer with some print training is also helpful!
Responsibilities

• Collaborate with other art directors, designers, and copywriters to create and produce compelling digital solutions
• Ensure projects are delivered with corporate brand, and partner brands in mind.
• Explore trends and competitive landscape, incorporating appropriate use of color, type, tone, and style into digital design practices.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Fluent understanding of current digital trends and social landscape.
• 4-5+ years of creative experience, especially in the omnichannel, multi-brand retail industry.
• Exceptional communication & presentation skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong relationship-building skills. Ability to work with a variety of people in various disciplines. Enjoys working with others and collaborating with a positive attitude.
• Solid organizational skills, detail-oriented. Capable of working on multiple projects concurrently in a very fast paced environment, ensuring that quality deliverables are achieved on time.
• Ability to produce high-level art direction/inspiration that is appropriate for Omni channels.
• Mastered knowledge of design, typography, photography, layout principles, & production process.
• College degree; BA or BFA preferred in Graphic Design or advertising.
• Proficient knowledge of Adobe CC (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), as well as Figma is a must, After Effects/Motion experience is a plus.
