We’re looking for a versatile Designer to join Starbucks Creative Studio. As a Starbucks Creative Studio designer, you will...

• Engages with others in a respectful, empathetic manner, promotes a positive, inclusive, and productive work environment, and participates in building the Studio's culture.
• Interprets and integrates creative feedback to advance the work demonstrating flexibility, and adapting smoothly to changes in direction.
• Co-creates captivating presentations with expert communication design skills, linking creative solutions strategically to brand and business objectives.
• Demonstrates storytelling ability, effectively presents work to a broad range of audiences, and communicates clearly to stakeholders with minimal guidance.
• Keeps a pulse on creative and cultural trends, skillfully translating findings into the work, helping evolve and strengthen the Starbucks brand.
• Creates design solutions that help drive the success of the Starbucks brand while adhering to and helping shape global creative standards that ensure Starbucks shows up consistently and effectively.
• Achieves established goals while consistently adapting to changing business and Studio priorities.
• Seeks to understand the basics of the business and organizational structure of the enterprise.
• Draws connections across Studio's projects as a source of inspiration and develops creative solutions with the end-user in mind.
• Cultivates positive working relationships within the Studio and with cross-functional partners at the project level.
• Develops effective and compelling creative concepts and design assets across a range of work, articulates creative decisions, and executes strategically and creatively at a high level.
• Manages workload effectively across projects with varying deadlines.

We’d Love To Hear From People With

• Interprets current trends, competition, and culture and applies it with a keen eye for shaping aesthetics and detail.
• Highly Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, including programs like Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, XD, Acrobat, and Creative Cloud.
• Excellent presentation skills
• Excellent time management skills and team-oriented with the ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Proficient in Mac platform
• Great communication and collaborative skills
• Skilled at graphics file creation
• Mastery of Design principles (color theory, composition, layout principles, typography)
• Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts/Visual Design/Visual Communication/Graphic Design, related creative certification or evaluated by relevant experience.
• Proven strength in problem analysis and creative problem-solving.
• A compelling portfolio of work with a wide range of creative projects

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience supporting advertising, media, and social campaigns, including film & social concepts and storyboards.
• 1+ years’ experience with a creative agency, in-house creative team
• 2+ years’ experience developing brand identities and branding/ creative guides.
• 2+ years of developing communication design skills.
• 2+ years of experience developing digital design and game UX design, including illustration, animation of assets, and creating multiple forms of digital design assets.
• 2+ years’ experience developing art directing skills, including photoshoots & film shoots, and art directing production.
• 2+ years of experience working on retail signage and design systems for cohesive store experiences.
• 2+ years’ experience working on packaging projects.
• 4-year bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts/Visual Design/Visual Communication/Graphic Design or related field
