Brand Manager II, Starbucks Alumni Community
Now Brewing – Alumni Brand Leader! #tobeapartner
From the beginning, Starbucks set out to be a different kind of company. One that not only celebrated coffee and the rich tradition, but that also brought a feeling of connection. We are known for developing extraordinary leaders who share this passion and are guided by their service to others.
As a Starbucks Brand Manager II, you will drive the successful delivery of strategic programs and marketing for the Starbucks Alumni Community. This is a thriving and active community of Starbucks alumni in the US -- connected by our mission, values, and our shared ambition to help people and the planet thrive. The ideal candidates will have a demonstrated history of strong brand management with the ability to create and execute strategic projects and brand marketing with a program management skillset. This position is an opportunity to lead broad cross-functional partnerships and innovate with an entrepreneurial mindset through digital communications, connections, and engagement.
As a Brand Manager II, You Will
  • Manage external resources – You will set objectives and direction for support roles and actively provide feedback while modeling leadership behavior for the larger team.
  • Develop and drive the Alumni program strategy – Create integrated plans that include program deliverables, strategic alignment, customer value, and enterprise-wide impacts. You will drive short and long term strategy through a blend of analytics, consumer insights, and brand and partner considerations. Manage the growth and health for a thriving community – You will be responsible for leading and analyzing data and research to provide ongoing actionable insights to inform internal stakeholders, develop future programs, and deliver on member needs.
  • Enjoy working on an energetic, fun team and can drive the program forward as part of a highly collaborative team, while acting in accordance with Starbucks guiding principles.
  • Inspire and influence others around the potential for Alumni – Work closely with business leaders to ensure strategic programs are delivered according to defined success criteria. Partner broadly with other areas of the business to arrange matrix resources to achieve deliverables and find integration opportunities with new and existing programs.
  • Lead Marketing and Content Strategy – You will lead and coordinate the overall approach to member acquisition and engagement through developing an insights-driven content strategy, briefing creative teams, and overseeing delivery.
We’d Love To Hear From People With
  • Progressive experience in brand management, 6-10 years
  • Progressive experience leading the development and implementation of new or existing products or strategies
  • Project leadership in a cross-functional environment, 6-10 years
  • MBA and previous Starbucks experience strongly preferred
  • 5+ years’ experience with in-depth analytics and business case development
