Job Description
Graphic Design Specialist (1st Position)


The Opportunity:

  • As a creative designer, you will support the overall efforts of the creative team by executing innovative projects in alignment with our brand strategy and creative director’s guidelines.

  • You will ensure the delivery of high-quality creative work with strong attention to detail while maintaining consistently high standards. You will deliver on-time, on-strategy, and on-budget solutions by identifying and guiding external creative resources for all assigned projects.
What You’ll Do:


  • Ensure all artwork produced meets our needs, requirements, brand values, and guidelines
  • Produce concepts and sketches and actively participate in internal reviews of creative projects
  • Create CRM (Customer Relationship Management) creative emails using lifecycle email marketing
  • Study the creative marketplace, stay on top of the latest trends and innovations, develop and maintain an understanding of 3-dimensional structural solutions
  • Identify and guide external creative resources for all assigned projects to deliver on-time, on-strategy, and on-budget solutions
  • Maintain, translate, and extend the product brand equities look and feel, brand identity, and style guidelines
  • Manage design presentation preparation, including mock-ups, mounting, and PowerPoint summaries
  • Assist design teams in creating strong branding, sales, and marketing collateral (brochures, posters, signage, leaflets, and other marketing materials)
  • Collaborate with team members to meet the expectations and standards of the creative design department
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of printing technologies and methodologies for all POS and packaging components
  • Manage project organization for all project binders and archive design solutions and illustrations
  • Collect, read, and interpret documented client briefs to deliver innovative, creative projects based on solid brand strategies
Qualifications:


  • Strong credentials in art direction and a positive track record in the development of successful, market-moving creative ideas
  • CRM – creative email design – lifecycle email marketing (this is a requirement for the CRM Designer only along with everything else in the qualifications section)
  • University degree in art, advertising, graphic design, communications, or similar field
  • Advanced knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite (i.e., InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop)
  • Passion for design and a keen eye for innovative ideas and trends
  • Excellent sense of design, typography, and conceptual thinking
  • 5 to 7 years of relevant experience as a creative or graphics designer
  • General Marketing design experience (all of the qualifications in this section except the CRM – creative design experience apply to this resource)
  • A creative mindset in a fast-evolving technological environment
  • Strong communication skills
