If you have a passion for what you do, the company you keep, the life you live, we may be just the place for you. We are seeking a full-time Design Associate, responsible for supporting all areas of the Design Department. 3-5 years of experience reporting to VP of Design.

Responsibilities:

Assist VP of Design design/development & special projects from concept to production:

1. Collaborate with Design on Quarterly Themes

2. Organize & Create Quarterly Design Presentations in Powerpoint

3. Collaborate with Design, Merchandising & Product Development on seasonal products

4. Participate in Design across categories & fabrications

5. Create new concepts for our fabrications in Illustrator or Photoshop

6. Recolor artwork for printed fabrications in Illustrator or Photoshop

7. Submit & approve Artwork, strikeoffs, labdips. Communicate with overseas Teams via PLM.

8. Organize and maintain samples, swatches & files

Qualifications

1. Experience with Leather handbags

2. Experience with Prints, esp in natural & sustainable fabrics

3. Strength in Illustrator, Photoshop & Powerpoint

4. Possess excellent presentation skills

5. Strong Organizational & Administrative skills

6. Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment

7. Ability to multi task a large number of projects

8. Passionate about design

9. Knowledge of Next Gen style

10. Detail-oriented

11. Enjoys working in a collaborative environment

12. Passionate about sustainability

13. Design degree

14. Experience with PLM is a plus

15. Experience with handcrafted products a plus
