The Practice Integration team assists with the initial onboarding, assessments, engagement, training, and introduction to Sage systems and processes to ensure a successful PMS conversion to Dentrix.
To ensure success, you must demonstrate leadership by serving as an example to others regarding professional behavior, handling multiple projects, and maintaining a positive attitude. Ability to multi-task, prioritize appropriately, able to learn new software quickly, and create rapport with acquired teams.
We seek aPractice Specialist – Acquisitionsto join the Practice Integration Teamat a growing, technology-focused Dental Services Organization (DSO) experiencing exciting direct-to-consumer, de novo, and acquisition growth. This role will focus on providing support, training, and guidance as the subject matter expert for all operational processes.To ensure success, you mustdemonstrate leadership by serving as an example to others regarding professional behavior, handling multiple tasks, and maintaining a positive attitude to create rapport with others undergoing an organizational change.
The position requires up to 85% travel time. Travel is non-negotiable. Must live in Florida or Georgia.
Responsibilities
- Act as a resource, representative, and mentor for others while they undergo an organizational change, generally from private practice to a DSO.
- Coordinate, facilitate, and implement training to help clinics maximize their financial and operational results, office workflow improvements, and Sage systems.
- Travel to assigned locations, with overnight stays as needed.
- Interact and communicate with various individuals and maintain a positive and professional demeanor in challenging situations.
- Organize a training curriculum that honors company ethics and conduct that is engaging and allows trainees the maximum opportunity to participate.
- Other projects and initiatives as needed to promote the needs of the organization to support business growth and development.
- Actively participate and collaborate with the Director of Practice Integration in assessing and creating a comprehensive onboarding and integration plan for joining practices.
- Provide training and development support to ensure all practice staff demonstrate knowledge of the business model, operating procedures, and protocols.
- Develop action plans and monitor progress against objectives.
- Responsible for coordinating due diligence and post-close integration preparation in support of PMS conversion.
- Gather pertinent information, assess practice needs, coordinate, and implement a plan to successfully onboard an acquired clinic to our Sage system.
- Complete documentation to demonstrate achievement of integration objectives and notable aspects of practice transition.
- Provide onsite and remote clinic support throughout assignment, pre & post-close through systems conversion, practice stabilization, and hand-off to DMO.
- Ability to build strong relationships with multiple teams.
- Responsible for facilitating, project managing, and enabling successful outcomes for integration activities in collaboration with central support teams.
Qualifications

- Close attention to detail and organization in all aspects of your work.
- Associates Degree, certification, Dental related experience
- Knowledge of Dentrix, SoftDent, Eaglesoft, Open Dental, and others a plus
- Demonstrated problem solver and creative thinker.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office business applications.
- You care about getting it right and understanding that small details have a significant impact.
- Must be able to learn new software quickly (I.E. Asana).
- Desire to grow your career.
- Ability to travel to assigned locations, with overnight stays as needed.
- Operational experience within a dental office, four years + preferred(Office manager, Assistant Office Manager).
