Your Next Career Opportunity – Vice President, Mergers and Acquisitions - International


Under the direction of M&A leadership, this position is responsible for providing the company with strategic leadership as it continues to expand its international business. This position will lead the creation and execution of a large set of compelling investment options by building and maintaining a significant pipeline of tower and tower-related acquisitions in existing markets and expansion into new markets.


What You Will Do – Primary Responsibilities


  • Lead efforts to source new leads, maintain existing relationships, build and maintain a qualified opportunity pipeline, and oversee quantitative and qualitative opportunity assessment analysis.
  • Work across departments to lead and/or facilitate, analysis, planning, negotiations, and deal structuring of transactions including interfacing with operations, finance, legal, and tax functions.
  • Actively participate in regular executive review and investment committee meetings, lead discussions, and present materials to the groups.
  • Supervise direct and indirect reports.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations describing the key attributes of growth opportunities and target acquisitions.
  • Lead the collaborative creation and maintenance of acquisition and market-related international growth strategies.
  • Interface with the investment banking community in coordination with Executive leadership.
  • Participate in and represent SBA at industry conferences, including speaking roles.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with sellers, developers, customers, brokers, investment bankers, and other industry professionals to facilitate information gathering, lead generation, transactions, and deal closure.
  • Supervise the creation of financial models and analysis used to evaluate opportunities including the preparation and presentation of plans and financial models for capital allocation approval.
  • Lead deal teams from exploration through the signing of a purchase agreement including negotiation and preparation of Letters of Intent, proposals, process responses, purchase contracts, and/other agreements with sellers and partners.
  • Analyze and advise executive management on significant opportunities, transactions, and trends in our industry.
  • Serve as a member of closing and integration teams.
  • Other projects and duties as assigned.
  • Participate in new market entry analysis including market evaluation, market-entry, and expansion strategies.


What You’ll Need – Qualifications & Requirements


  • Valid Government Issued Passport
  • And 5+ years experience working with real estate and/or telecommunications transactions in a leadership role including deal structure, negotiations, strategy, and finance. International experience preferred.
  • Valid Government Issued Driver's License
  • International Travel
  • Demonstrated knowledge and intermediate proficiency working with Microsoft Office Suite software including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Outlook.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field of study; Master's Degree preferred;
  • And 15+ years total experience in the telecommunications service, real estate, or investment banking industry. International experience preferred.
