Default Service Specialist - Remote | Wfh

Our client is seeking a talented and motivated Default Services Specialist to join their team on a temporary basis, working remotely. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals local to Phoenix, AZ or Ewing, NJ who are looking to further their career in mortgage servicing. In this role, you will be responsible for Quality Control, Property Preservation, and REO, ensuring that all tasks are completed to a high standard.
As the Default Services Specialist, you will perform various tests based on the performance management process and review BPO's, code violations, bids, invoices, appraisals, utilities, and registrations. You will correspond with vendors via email and have the opportunity to work collaboratively with other members of the team to achieve common goals.
To be considered for this role, you must have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, and 2-3 years of relevant mortgage servicing experience, with exposure to risk management practices and/or related quality assurance testing. You should possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, and be proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Additionally, experience reviewing processes, data, or documents with a strong attention to detail is essential. Awareness of Regulatory Compliance requirements and investor guidelines and requirements (FNMA, FHLMC, GNMA, VA and FHA) is also a must-have.
